Write Your Whole Site With One R.O.A.D. Brief
One paste-ready prompt that turns your Chapter 1 notes into a complete first-draft website: every section, every headline, every button.
Copy & run
**Where you are:** You picked your goal (Ch 1) and your tool (Ch 2). Now you generate the entire site in one shot. This is the highest-leverage step: a full first draft in the time it takes to drink a coffee. **This prompt uses R.O.A.D.**, the brand's prompt formula: **R**ole, **O**bjective, **A**ssets, **D**eliverable. That structure is why the output comes back complete instead of vague. **Do this:** Fill in the ALL-CAPS blanks with your Chapter 1 answers, then paste the whole thing into your builder (v0, Claude, Framer AI, or Lovable). ``` ROLE You are a senior conversion copywriter and web designer who builds high-converting small-business websites. You write plain, confident copy and design clean, modern, mobile-first layouts. OBJECTIVE Build a complete one-page marketing website whose single job is to get visitors to: [PRIMARY GOAL: e.g., request a free quote]. Every section should move the reader toward that one action. ASSETS (use exactly this: do not invent facts, prices, or reviews) - Business name: [NAME] - What we do: [ONE-LINE DESCRIPTION] - Who it's for: [IDEAL CUSTOMER] - The outcome they get: [RESULT, not features] - Why choose us: [ONE HONEST REASON] - Primary button text: [E.G., "Get a free quote"] - Service area / location (if local): [CITY OR "online / nationwide"] - Contact method for the button: [E.G., a form, a phone number, an email] - Tone: direct, warm, no hype. DELIVERABLE A single responsive page with these sections, in this order: 1. Sticky header: logo text + the primary button. 2. Hero: one bold headline (the outcome), one supporting sentence, the primary button. No stock-photo clichés. 3. "What you get": 3 benefit cards (benefit first, plain words). 4. "How it works": 3 simple steps. 5. "Why us": the one honest reason, expanded to 2-3 short lines. 6. A single clear call-to-action band repeating the primary button. 7. Footer: business name, contact method, service area. Rules: - Do NOT fabricate reviews, testimonials, statistics, or awards. Leave a clearly-labeled placeholder if a section needs proof. - Mobile-first. Big tap targets. Fast, no heavy graphics. - Return the finished site, then list any placeholders I must fill in. ``` **Why the placeholders rule matters:** you never want AI inventing a fake 5-star review. Real proof goes in later, by you. > **Keep sensitive data in your private AI workspace.** Don't paste customer lists or internal pricing into a public tool. Describe them generically and keep specifics private. **Next up, Chapter 4:** run it, get the site, and read the preview like a critic.
